Census returns are available from 1841. They occur every ten years and are currently published between 1841 and 1911. You will receive print outs of any associated census returns providing interesting family details of your ancestor.
I may come across other documents during my research and I will also provide printed copies of these where possible. This could include a parish baptism record, a soldier's military record or perhaps details of a will.
All of these documents will be presented to you in a folder and have a contents list at the beginning. A description of the documents within the folder will also be provided for your ease.
There may be occasions when a birth, death or marriage certificates are the only solid proof of a person’s identity. If this is the case it will be necessary to purchase one or more certificates from the General Records Office (GRO).
The GRO charge £25 for this service and that charge will be added to your quote.
I will always contact you for your approval in advance in such instances.
