Over the years I have found many discarded heirlooms at
fairs, car boot sales, auctions or via contacts.
Here are just a few items that I would like to share with you.
Perhaps even re-unite them with their descendants.

Victorian Leather bound photograph album with gilt initials, WBP on the front.
The album contains various carte de visite and cabinet photographs of members of the family of Walter Bridge Puckle and his wife, Helen Elizabeth Puckle, nee White.
Several are named and there are a number of views of Switzerland and the Tirol region.
Helen (known as Nellie) was the grandaughter of the artist Gustav Sintze
Carte de visite photograph of Herbert Sutcliffe Shrewsbury 1878-1941.
Photographed by Stuart of Glasgow when he was 1 year and 5 months old.
Born on 25th February 1878 in Scotland, Herbert married Florence Agnes James in 1904. He spent some time in Trinidad and I believe was a pharmacist of some kind.
He died on 4th October 1941.
A Cabinet photograph taken some time between 1875-1884.
The reverse of the card has some notes naming this gentleman as W. Hislop Van Baerle of the British Lodge No 8.
There then follows a list of Masonic achievements and awards that the sitter received ending with being, "Special steward" at the installation of HRH the Prince of Wales April 1875.
Mr Braele was born in Belgium in 1833 and began as a
